Our son saw this restaurant on the train ride and we had to stop by. The atmosphere is great, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with an aquarium built in. There were a few small tanks and one large one with many different types of sea creatures. The food was delicious. I had the "taste of new Orleans" including shrimp, sausage, cat fish, and fried gator. My friend ordered Parmesan chicken and shrimp and my wife had Louisiana Cajun pasta. The experience was really enjoyable and our server had a great sense of humor on a slower day. Definitely recommend stopping here.

We drove nearly 2 hours to experience Kemah Boardwalk for the first time and chose to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday at the Aquarium restaurant. The place was beautifully themed with a calming underwater vibe—perfect for a special occasion. The family tables were full, so my husband, son, and I decided to sit at the bar. It was actually my son’s and my first time ever sitting at a bar, and we were a little nervous—but that changed the moment Angelica greeted us. She was beyond amazing! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, she instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. She handled everything with such grace and care that we truly felt like valued guests. Jeanette also came by to check on us, and her warm, genuine presence made the experience even better. Both of these ladies went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful—but it was Angelica and Jeanette who truly made this visit unforgettable. For making a milestone birthday feel so special and for turning our nerves into smiles, they deserve all the stars and more. Hands down, best service we’ve had in a long time!

Great restaurant, dining next to the big aquarium is a very special experience, the restaurant also provides free photography and photos, but if you want to add a photo frame, you need to pay extra. Valerie who served us was very friendly and welcoming.

I had an excellent time celebrating a birthday here. The food was great, and the service was decent. However, my only feedback is that, despite the restaurant not being very busy, no manager stopped by to check on our table.

We had a great experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. We ordered the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and also tried the sampler, which was really tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding — Markus, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The only minor issue was at the front desk, where we waited a little longer than expected to be seated. But once we were at our table, everything went perfectly and was absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the unique atmosphere.

We went on Saturday 2/15/2025 to celebrate Valentine’s Day and everything was Amazing. Forest was our waiter and he was soooo Outstanding, he constantly checked on us, made sure our order was accurate and it came out really fast. We don’t have to wait to be seated and the hostess were very nice as well. The only thing I’m upset about is that my souvenir cup had a crack and I didn’t notice until after we left the restaurant. We got the watermelon drink it was ok just could’ve used more alcohol lol Overall experience was a 10/10 and we will be back. If you go please be sure to ask for Forest and you won’t be disappointed.

This was a fun adventure in our Houston stay. The aquarium itself had lots of fish to see in all sizes. Our waitress, Clarissa, was on point and very kind. She took care of refills promptly. Service was fast. The fried onion stack was amazing. The Louisiana Cajun Pasta was light and tasty—plenty of meat among all of the pasta. The Cajun surf and turf was awesome—lots of food on that plate that our 8 year old devoured. The seafood gumbo has a dark, almost burnt roux. We will definitely visit again when we’re in the area. On a side note, be prepared to climb stairs into the restaurant!
